Chapter 1
Mindy banged on the door separating us as I sat on the cold bathroom floor, my head between my knees and my entire naked body shivering. My ears had started going deaf to Mindy's cries of, “Jack! Jack come out of there! There's nothing wrong with it—really! Every guy gets stage fright every now and then!” I could only focus on the voices inside as I parted my forehead from my knee tops and eyed my tan cock, frowning at its half limp state—the hardest I could get it all night.
There goes another girlfriend, I thought as I pinched the foreskin at the end and pulled it over my head, signifying its rest. I drew in a deep breath, trying to relax my muscles before another thought crept in. It's a curse… I mean, it's gotta be, right? I feel all right by a girl for a while and then bam! Sex. Sex that I can't seem to have…
A hand reached down and cupped my balls, adjusting them and fondling them at the same time. Not even blue. Did I even want it? I could've sworn I was hard when I was eating her earlier… Maybe I'm not just broken—I'm crazy too.
An extra hard bash on the door scattered my attention, drawing me to the door. Without listening to what Mindy had said on the other end, I stated: “I'm going to go home, Mindy.” The noise filling the room finally stopped and silence soon filled its place, but I knew it was only a matter of time before the thoughts returned.
I pulled myself up and onto my feet, but refrained from grabbing the door knob to assess my damage in the mirror. Dead, bloodshot blue eyes met mine underneath jet black, short hair and I groaned. Tell them the truth or tell them I was out drinking…? Decisions, decisions… To distract myself from the fleeting thought, my eyes traveled to the various muscles about my body and across my broad, hairy chest. I can't honestly say that I know why hairy chests are praised, but Mindy liked it… Not that it matters now…
Right! I was leaving… I grabbed the knob, gave it a twist and opened the door to find the blonde in front of me with her arms crossed and a pout on her face. My immediate question was: “What?” However, I knew I'd be better off gathering my clothes and letting her try to convince me that I'm wrong in five...four...three...two…
“Jack, what the fuck is with you?” And there she goes. In that shrill, yap dog-like voice of hers. “You can't just dump me because you can't get it up! Think about this, Jack… Think about us.”
I don't believe I said anything about dumping you, I thought as I picked up my boxers and slipped them on, followed by my shorts. But this kind of reaction is certainly making me consider it. I turned to her, for a moment, looking for my shirt as she went on.
“Are you even listening to me? God, I thought we really had something. I know it hasn't been that long or nothin', but...”
“It's been a month,” I stated as I threw my shirt on.
“Yeah, yeah… So, like, we just went at it too soon. That's all! We don't need sex, babe, we can do other things.” She ran over to me and grabbed my hands, squeezing them in hers. “We can take it as nice and slow as you need to, babe...” I looked away from her, but she looked into my eyes every direction I turned—those glimmering green eyes bore into me, but I still felt an...emptiness from them that I couldn't quite place.
“It's not that,” I blurted out, clumsily, my hands squeezing hers back. “I just… It's just that… It feels… It feels like something isn't there. Something I need.”
Her eyes widened and she backed away a little, but stayed connected to me. “Wh-what do you mean…? Am I not loyal and loving and...” she said as her head shook, matching her tone.
“...It's not that. It's just… I don't know. I don't know!” I closed my eyes as I raised my voice, pulling my hands away from hers before dashing to the door leading out of her bedroom. From behind, I could hear her whimpering and I sighed, my fist shaking as I said, “I'm sorry. I have to go… This is my fault, not yours.”
“H-how are you going to get home…?” she called out to me weakly.
“I'll walk. Goodbye, Mindy.”
The frosty winds directly from the mountains nearby slapped me from all around. To keep my focus from the cold, I looked down—down at the snow right before my foot made its mark in the frigid dust. 'I'll walk.' Great one, Jack. You could've had a chance with her, but you still fucked it up in the end. But what does it matter? She's not what I'm looking for anyway, right? As soon as I find someone with that...thing that I need… I'll be able to feel normal—at least in bed. What is normal anyway though? Maybe that person can tell me… Maybe...
It racked my brain the more I thought about it. Who could it be? What is it…? I looked up to see that I'd made it to my street and paused, looking around to find my house through the thin fog around. All I need is some rest, probably. I'll call Mindy tomorrow and tell her I had a couple drinks before coming over and that's why I was acting so weird. Yeah, that's what you want, right? Yeah…?
I walked up the steps to a redbrick house with a dimly lit front porch light that I could only associate with my home. I yanked my key out of my pocket and unlocked the door, quietly slipping into the darkness before creeping up the creaky stairs in the front room. My softly padded footsteps continued until I made it into my room and fell onto my bed, moving my pillows and laptop out of the way as I kicked off my boots and pulled down my shorts.
It was still colder than usual, so I kept my shirt and boxers on and wrapped my arms around my body pillow, hugging it to myself as I closed my eyes. Just one last thought made it through before darkness took me: Where are you missing piece…? Where are you…?
Chapter 2
From the darkness that I seemed to aimlessly stumble through, I saw a faint, white light ahead of me followed by a soft voice that went from one ear to the other. “Come to me,” it said firmly, commanding my muscles to lunge toward it. It was a mindless action, and yet, the feeling of knowing where to go in such a grim place made me smile as I headed toward it eagerly.
All around me, the darkness began to grow weaker and the light that started out so muted at the end of what was now a narrow hallway I was walking down, looked akin to a shinning beacon atop a light house—guiding me to it. The closer I came to the light, the louder the voice became in my ears. “Jack,” it said, “Keep going. Just a little bit closer.” Every time I felt fatigue approaching, I would just focus on the voice and it would get me through… Through to the end of that long, long hallway.
Eventually, I stood before a door made of wood complimented with a shinning, golden knob. It was the knob that had created the light I'd been following and I didn't hesitate to grab it and give it a turn. “That's it,” she
said as I peeked my head in, pushing the door forward and walking through.
I scanned the small, white room ahead of me. Somehow, my eyes went right past the blonde in the center of the room with her foot propped atop a chair. I forced myself to return to the figure, focusing on it and noticing her neatly combed, cut hair, confident smile and tidy suit. She allowed me a few more seconds to look on. Enough time for me to realize that I was looking at… “M-Mindy…?” My question echoed around the room.
“Stop wasting time, Jackie. Get in here and shut the door,” she commanded, her eyes piercing through mine. I bit my bottom lip, a chill running down my spine as my heart started to beat faster. Hands at my sides, I into the room and instantly, the white faded to black and red candles, hanging all around illuminated the blonde and the chair.
“I, um… Hi…?” I muttered as I walked over to Mindy. The Hell is wrong with me…? “Listen, I was wrong about everything, okay? We can make this work—like you said!” She took her foot off the chair and spun it around, showing the seat to me.
“Sit,” she said as she turned from me, keeping her back to me until I sat down. “Good. Hands back.”
“Wait, what? Why? Mindy what is all this….? What is…?” My voice cracked halfway through my last words and I felt her hand come down on my shoulder, giving it a squeeze.
“Hands back, dear,” she said softly.
“I...I don't know… What are you going to do to me?”
“Just trust me, dear. Can't you do that for me? You trust me, don't you?” She cupped my chin and pulled it up so that our eyes met and in that moment I felt my fears—all my worries and doubts—melt. I felt...peace.
“Yes.” It felt so right to say. “I threw my hands back, against the back of the chair and she let go of my chin, pulling out a rope. The texture was coarse—rough—as she tied my hands together, prompting me to struggle a little to try and get comfortable.
“That wasn't so hard, was it?” she asked as she came around.
No, it really...wasn't. I shook my head and said, “No.”
She frowned a little, coming closer to me and spreading her legs to sit on my lap. “'No,' what?” she whispered, using two fingers to walk up my chest and up to my throat.
“N-no, ma'am?”
She nodded. “Correct.” A dull pain at the back of my head made me cry out, feeling her fingers dig into my hair and yank it. Right as my groan began she slid her lips atop mine and we were sharing a deep kiss. God, what are you doing to me…? Was the only thought that managed to form as the candles went out one by one and total darkness took me once again.
Chapter 3
Beep! Beep! Beep!
“Ugh...”
I reached out and batted the air a few times before successfully slapping my alarm clock to the ground, silencing the noisy contraption. “God, that was probably the weirdest dream I've had in a while,” I groaned, turning myself around and onto my back. Wait a minute… The dream! I sat up and cringed, feeling my tip brush against my scratchy covers.
Curiously, I slipped my hand under the covers and wrapped my hand around my cock, feeling it throb in my hand. My eyes widened and I threw my covers off with my other hand to see a steady stream of pre leaking out the tip. “More excited than usual… That's—that's got to be her! Hell, I really was wrong. Thank God,” I said with a sigh of relief. I reveled in my discovery, gripping my shaft in my hand and squeezing it softly, massaging my sensitive skin with my finger tips. “Well,” I said, biting my lip. “I don't see why I can't have a little fun before...”
“Jack!” called my mother from downstairs.
I groaned, rolling my eyes as I replied, “Yes, Mom?!”
“You're going to be late for school! Let's go! Up, up, up!” she screeched.
“God...fucking...dammit,” I grunted beneath my breath, slipping my cock back into my boxers and trying to ignore the obvious tent effect. “Another wasted boner. My life sucks.”
The first bell of the day rang as I approached the tall, maroon and white structure in front of me with, “Baltiwood High” plastered on the top. Gaveil, a heavy set and dark—both physically and mentally—friend patted me on the shoulder as he passed me. “Looks like ya made it for once! Congrats, really. Shall I present your prize?”
I turned to him and ignored the smug look on his face. “Nah. I don't need another melted candy bar in your back pocket, thanks.”
He crossed his arms and asked, “How do you know it's melted? Hmm?”
I shook my head and said, “Just never mind that. Have you seen, Mindy?”
He scoffed and said, “Yeah. Why? You haven't? I thought you guys were, you know… Oh, that reminds me! How was she?” I opened my mouth to speak, but Gaveil cut me off with a light shove, pushing me against the rail separating the steps to the school. His mouth moved faster than the words he formed. “I know you been havin' it rough 'n all, but I heard good things from Johnny—you know her ex—anyway, sorry for bringin' that up. I was just trying to say that, well, you know… This would be good!”
“Gav...”
“I mean, she's got those curves, ya know? And those lips and...” He threw his head back, letting out a loud huff. “If only I could get some of that, man. I'm tellin' ya, you're one lucky...”
“Gaveil!” I shouted, throwing my hands up and stopping in front of a locker. A few passing by looked over for a second before turning back and hurrying to class.
“Damn, dude. You didn't have to shout. What's up?” he asked as he leaned on a locker, his head cocked a little.
“We...didn't.”
“Dude, what?”
“We didn't bang, okay? There were...complications.”
“Complications? The fuck?” I could tell that his mind was racing as his eyes were going all around. He leaned in close to my ear, a hand cupping his mouth. “Yo, she got the herp?”
I backed up and asked, “Excuse me?”
“You know!” He clapped in the air. “The clap! Crabs? Heppy?”
From the corner of my eye, I noticed a teacher approaching and waved my hands in the air. “Dude, keep it down!”
“Oh, I'm sorry, man,” he whispered.
Click! Clack! Click! Clack! Went Mrs. Auborn's heels as she approached us, sending the scent of lilac through the air. Click! Clack… She paused mid-step and turned to me, smiling. “Why, Mr. Lemming! It's great to see you! I don't believe I've ever seen you here so early. What's the occasion?”
I shrugged and said, “Eh. Late night plus a good dream equals an early morning?”
“Mm,” she hummed, nudging me. “If I taught chemistry instead of biology I might just have to try that formula out! ...But, I'm not, so I'll just have to take your word for it.”
Gaveil held his hands out, giving her a wide grin. “You're lookin' finer than my girl at prom, Mrs. Auborn!” He held the back of his hand next to his lips as he whispered, “But don't tell her that. Ya feel me?”
Mrs. Auborn nodded and smiled back. “Oh, thank you, Mr. Duball! You're looking handsome as well, but that doesn't mean I have any extra credit for you.”
Gaveil took a step back, gasping. “Extra credit? Wh-what do you…? I would never…!” Mrs. Auborn adjusted her glasses, giving my friend a stern look. He resumed his normal posture and said, “Right, ma'am. Sorry.”
A shiver ran up my spine and trickled down my fingertips, making my muscles tense up. Ma'am?
“No trouble at all, Gaveil. Just try to stay out of trouble, will you? I hope you don't mind, but I'll be taking Jack now,” she said as he turned to me, snapping me out of my daze.
“Huh? What?” I asked, looking at Mrs. Auborn.
“We've got to get to class, silly. I've got tests for you to grade,” she said as she turned around, gesturing with her fingers twice for me to follow.
I stood in place for a second, my mind jumbled.
“Yo, I'll catch ya later, man. I'll tell Mindy you said, hi,” said Gaveil as he backed into the doorway of the classroom nex
t to the lockers.
Oh, right… I shook my head and waved to him before blurting out, “Wait, no!”
“Come on, Jack. They aren't going to grade themselves,” said Mrs. Auborn as she called out to me.
“God...dammit,” I groaned, curling a hand into a fist as I ran up to her and slowed down beside her, matching the rhythm of her heels.
Chapter 4
“All right, everyone! Just pick up on where we left off last week and put the worksheets on Jack's desk when you're done,” declared Mrs. Auborn. She took a moment to scan the mostly barren, yet spacious classroom with large, black tables scattered all around it—populated with random assortments of sophomore students. No one raised a hand, so she nodded to the class, making her honey colored curls bounce once before sitting down at her desk beside me.
